Conventionally, H. Pylori is treated with heavy duty antibiotics and acid blocking medications. Pyloricil is hard on the bacteria but very gentle on the digestive system and actually helps to protect the stomach lining.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as heartburn/GERD, stomach pain, nausea or gas and bloating, H. Pylori may be the culprit. You can get a comprehensive stool test or a breath test to see if you have this bacteria. Please also keep in mind that H.Pylori can be transmitted quite easily through the exchange of saliva. If a family member is diagnosed with it, it is recommended everyone in close contact with that individual be tested and treated if necessary to prevent the bacteria from passing back and forth.
