When you have Hashimoto’s, fitness usually means your body, finding movement that gives you energy instead of wiping you out for days. That kind of fitness is important, but there is another kind underneath it, and it is the strength you build on the inside. It is being able to feel safe in your body when your immune system is literally attacking your thyroid, knowing the difference between your intuition and your fear, and letting go of the idea that you will start really living once you feel better.
In this episode, Inna sits down with Eric Bigger, a fitness trainer, motivational speaker, and mindset coach who helps people build strength from the inside out through his Spiritual Fitness method. He is the author of two books, It’s Miracle Season and his new book, Spiritual Fitness, and you may also know him from The Bachelorette, where he made it to the top three and was a fan favorite. Eric had what looked like everything on the outside and realized none of it made him feel whole, and what he built from that place is a practice that can help everything else you are doing for your thyroid take hold.
From Baltimore to the Awakening
Eric’s early life was shaped by a drive to become something more, fueled in part by a sense of emotional neglect he felt as a child despite being cared for materially. Basketball was his vehicle out, and curiosity was his compass. He studied personal development voraciously, read everything he could find, attended seminars, and slowly began to see his circumstances shift in response to the inner work he was doing.
When the television opportunities came, it felt like his dreams had arrived, and in some ways they had. But the success was built on external validation rather than internal alignment, and when the structures supporting it began to fall away, so did the version of himself he had been performing. That collapse, what he calls his ego death, became the doorway to everything he now teaches.
The lesson was never that success is bad. Success built on the need to be seen, to prove, and to perform simply cannot produce fulfillment. As Eric puts it, success is getting what you want, and fulfillment is doing what you were made for. Getting there requires getting honest about what is actually driving you.
What Spiritual Fitness Actually Means
Spirituality is trust and awareness. Fitness is integration and embodiment. Together, they describe a practice of becoming aware of what the soul knows and then living from that place rather than from the logical, conditioned mind.
The framework Eric has built rests on five pillars: intention, movement, breathwork, affirmations, and prayer. Rather than a checklist, they are woven together into an interactive experience that invites a person to discover who they actually are beneath the roles, the habits, the wounds, and the goals they have inherited or constructed.
In practice this looks like setting a genuine intention before any activity, moving the body in a way that opens rather than distracts, using conversation and inquiry during that movement to bring dormant awareness to the surface, using breath to slow the mind and integrate what has come up, and closing with affirmations and prayer that anchor the experience. Movement is a big part of why it works. Talking moves energy, but moving your body while you talk moves far more of it, and things surface that would never come up sitting still.
What people find, often to their surprise, is that they start crying during the breathwork. They receive unexpected clarity. They say things they have never said before and realize they were ready to say them. That is the spiritual body becoming available.
The Difference Between Goals and Intentions
A goal is an outcome. An intention is an income. When people focus only on the outcome, they are chasing external markers of arrival. They get there and find that something essential is missing, not because they chose the wrong goal, but because they never invested in the internal process of becoming someone who could genuinely inhabit what they were reaching for.
Setting an intention is not vague wishfulness. It is a deliberate investment of energy into the experience of what you are moving toward, rather than just the destination, and it is what creates the commitment that remains once the initial excitement wears off.
With Hashimoto’s, this distinction is a big one. The goal of losing weight, reducing antibodies, or feeling energized is an outcome. The intention of genuinely caring for your body, of moving toward connection with yourself, of becoming someone who chooses what supports life rather than what numbs it, is the foundation that makes the outcome sustainable.
Intuition Versus Logic
One of the things Eric returns to throughout his work is the mismatch between what the logical mind recommends and what the soul knows. Logic requires evidence. It works from the past and defaults to what is safe, familiar, and provable. Intuition operates differently. It moves toward things before the evidence exists, and it often leads somewhere the logical mind would have dismissed. Eric has come to believe that playing it safe is its own kind of risk, and many of the biggest turns in his life came from trusting that inner knowing when the numbers did not add up.
For people with thyroid conditions and autoimmune disease, this has a particular resonance. Many people know, somewhere underneath their compliance with what they have been told, that something in their life is not right. A relationship, a job, a pattern of saying yes when everything inside is saying no. The thyroid sits at the throat, the center of voice and the ability to speak what is true, and when that truth is consistently swallowed, the body carries it.
This is not about blaming the body or attributing illness to a single emotional pattern. It is about recognizing that the physical and the emotional are not separate, and that healing happens across both.
Safety as the Foundation of Healing
The body has a very hard time healing in a state of threat. The parasympathetic nervous system, the state in which repair, digestion, immune regulation, and hormonal balance function best, depends on a genuine sense of safety. When the nervous system is chronically activated, those systems stay suppressed, and for someone with Hashimoto’s, that ongoing stress response is one of the things that keeps inflammation going.
Eric’s work consistently returns to creating that safety from the inside. Rather than waiting for external circumstances to become safe, the practice is building an internal environment where the body can begin to trust that it is not under attack. Every intentional breath sends that signal, and so does every moment of genuine presence.
For people who feel like their body is attacking itself, which is literally what an autoimmune condition is, this reframe is especially meaningful. Safety is something that can be cultivated, practiced, and built, even when life on the outside is not perfect.
You Were Not Meant to Do It Alone
One of the most important threads running through Eric’s story is learning to receive. For years he did everything by himself, because every time he had asked for help in the past, he had been rejected. It took a friend asking him point blank why he never asked for help to show him how much that hyper independence was holding him back, and letting that friend help him is what opened the door to the biggest change of his life.
Many people, particularly women managing chronic illness alongside everything else they carry, are highly capable of giving but have deep resistance to asking for and accepting help. That resistance is its own kind of stress. It keeps the nervous system in a vigilant, self reliant state that burns through resources the body needs for healing. Learning to ask, to accept help when it is offered, and to speak up when something does not feel right is a real part of calming that system down.
Eric also shares something a therapist once told him, that he chose this life and had what it took to walk it. The challenges on your path are not evidence that you are failing. They are the terrain.
Combining the Inner Work With Everything Else You Are Doing
Inna knows this terrain personally. Her own Hashimoto’s journey included losing half her hair, exhausting fatigue, brain fog, and nearly every symptom imaginable, and that experience is what led her to this podcast, her programs, and the work she does today. She is also clear that spiritual fitness is not a replacement for the biochemical side of care. If your thyroid is no longer producing enough hormone, you need your thyroid medication, and the nutrition, protocols, and supplements you use are doing real and necessary work.
The inner work adds more angles to that foundation. The more angles you approach healing from, the better you are likely to feel, and the more room you give yourself to grow into a bigger version of your life than you may have imagined.

Inna Topiler CNS MS (00:00.438)
Eric, I am so glad you’re here. Thank you so much for being on Thyrid Mystery Solved.
ERic (00:05.593)
Well, thank you for having me. Happy to be here and talk all things spiritual fitness, life, and medicine and health. All the things.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (00:13.138)
yes. And you know, almost everyone in my community wants to feel fit and strong. And we talk all the time about how much movement and you know the way we treat our body really matters, especially when we have thyroid issues and Hashimoto’s. But today we are going after a little bit of a different kind of fitness, one that’s really underneath all of that. And I think that once people understand that, all of the other stuff starts to kind of fit into place because
The thing is that you can hand someone the perfect protocol and they can eat the right foods or have the idea of the right foods, right? And the right supplements and the right detoxes and everything else. But if the body’s not in the right state, the body’s actually not going to get the memo of what it needs to do. And your whole story and this book is really about that inner state. And so I’d love it if you could take me back to the beginning, because you grew up in Baltimore, and I would love for people to really hear.
where you came from because I have a feeling that a lot of that is really at the root of everything that you know and teach right now.
ERic (01:19.191)
Yeah, thank you. yeah, so growing up in Baltimore, at a young age, you know, I’ve really was tapped into my spiritual self. I just didn’t know I was that spiritual. I remember like fifteen or sixteen, I would pray at night before bed. I didn’t grow up in a church. I wasn’t raised by churchgoers, you know, they believed in Christianity, you know, faith based. But I will always pray. And I never shared that with anyone at that age. I like, It’ll be I’ll be tired and I’ll f
My spirit will tell like, you need to pray, and I’ll just go pray. And I’m like, okay, cool. And I was just going with my life. But the interesting, over the years, everything I prayed for has come to pass. So also growing up in Baltimore is a very different environment. It’s challenging. it’s a lot of violence. When I was growing up, a lot of destruction, a lot of crime. And it’s the norm, right? When you normalize something because you see it so often, my gateway or my out was basketball. Basketball was my sport, it was my dream, it was my first love. Like I gave basketball.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (01:50.872)
Mm-hmm.
ERic (02:16.139)
everything and it was a vehicle that I used to get far in life. And as I gotten older, going to school and traveling the world, I realized that I went on this journey to discover myself through the power of my mind, my body and consciousness. So growing up in Baltimore, being a camping on all my teens, whether I was the best player or not, I was always a leader. And then from there, my friend group, I always was the leader of that. I took care of people. I love people, but a lot of my
doing and being came from my lack of not having or at least not receiving the love I wanted from certain, you know, my mom, my, you know, my father in ways, right? I felt neglected emotionally. But they did everything. They took care of me. We wasn’t poor, but I felt that neglect. So I think because I had this father womb and this mother womb that I’m like, I’m gonna become something, right? And so I I went after this success. Like I’m gonna be great. And in school I got straight A’s most of my life. Like I probably got one C my whole college career.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (03:06.454)
Mm.
ERic (03:14.213)
I was like a 4.0, but I was at least like a 3-5, 3-6. And I played basketball. And when I went to LA in 2010, fresh out of college, I knew one person. I had a thousand dollars for my name and I left Baltimore. I had a government job. I didn’t take it. It was born. I wanted more freedom. I’m a Sag Moan by the way. Pisces son. So I love my freedom in space. And I started to like do background acting, but doing background acting in Hollywood at the time, 22, 23, I’m like,
I got a college degree with honors. Why can’t I get a good job? Like I was kind of humble. Like LA humbled me. And so what I did to kind of go deep was I started doing the work, reading the books, Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Les Brown, going to seminars, constantly on YouTube, trying to figure out who am I, what am I, why am I here. And I remember reading like The Secret and Think and Grow Rich. And I started applying the principles. Like two years in of LA.
And things start to shift where I was like, I was booking national commercial, I got a new job, I was managing Amber Crombie and Fitch. You know, I was making money, I had benefits. I’m like, I arrive, you know? And then I stopped going to work because I’m like, I got this new career. But Baltimore in general has inspired a lot of my life because seeing a lot of, you know, challenging things growing up, my I had a lot of anger, suppressed anger, and I would
I would have this conversation with myself, like, don’t want, don’t people want more? And I’ve always just wanted more out of life. I wanted, I I was like, I used to think life can’t just be paying bills and that’s it. Life can’t just be, I’m just an athlete and I make money. It gotta be more than life than just Baltimore. That’s what my thought was when I was young. And I was so interested in that curiosity is what led me to all these new different synchronicities, experiences, going to
College, junior college at Howard Community College, then transferring to Hampton University where I graduated in 2010 to booking a one-way ticket with a thousand dollars to LA because I was curious. But in that time, I remained spiritual, but I didn’t know I was spiritual because I was listening to my intuition. My intuition led me to Los Angeles. My intuition led me to the things that I do and I get to do. And over that space, I realized in in 20 at 23, 24, I was like, I wanna be a life coach.
ERic (05:33.648)
That’s how this all started. I got into fitness because I wanted to be a life coach. I wanted to help people in life. And I knew I didn’t have the experience of life to be a life coach at 22, 23, 24, right? So I said, well, I’ll do physical fitness. And then that’s when I started in boot camps. And then my boot camps, everything I’m doing in spiritual fitness, I’ve done incantations, we would pray, we would, you know, work out. And I would experience people like when they’re working out with me at that young age and at that time.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (05:48.078)
Mm-hmm.
ERic (06:02.585)
They really wasn’t thinking about the workout as much as they was thinking about the experience of the workout. Like they was having a shift, a paradigm shift. And I discovered, like, that’s so interesting. What’s happening? But I left it alone. Life went on. I figured things out. Went through times of struggle and challenge living in LA. And then boom, here comes the TV show. 2017, A Bachelorette. And then that’s when my life really changed because I
I jumped timelines and I was thinking like, wow, but it was all because of the work I was doing on myself that I didn’t know what was coming into my experience. Joe Dispenza says, knowledge is the precursor to experience. So I was reading a lot of books, going to the seminars that I explained before, and then my life opened up, and then it’s like that year all my dreams came true. And it was just like, wow, what just happened? It was just like abracadabra, right? And
From probably 2017 and 2022, 2020, I went on a run. I was just brand deals, speaking all over world, podcasts, wrote wrote this book, and wrote that book, commercials, like I was living the dream. I was inside of my dream. I’m like, wow, like dancing with the stars, family food, TV show, commercial, like all the things I ever wanted, but yet I still didn’t feel the love I needed for myself because everything was based on what I could do.
How I showed up and what I could give. In 2023, that’s when I had that awakening, that ego death, the towers fell, the ego success, the bachelorette, the TV personality, that that essence of myself had to die for me to tap into who I am today in that spiritual fitness. And so, shouts out to Baltimore, shouts out to the journey. I call it the hero’s journey because that’s what I went on. And it returned to self, and now we’re here talking.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (07:52.771)
Yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (07:57.239)
Yeah. And I I love your story and I love just how things started and how they went up and then down. And I think for so many people listening, especially when we have different health challenges, sometimes hearing things like that, it’s hard for people to well, it’s hard for people for two things. I think first is the intuition part because one thing that you said is that what led you here and there and back was your intuition. And I think for so many people.
I know for me it was like that for a long time. We don’t actually understand intuition and the difference between intuition and fear. And it’s hard, and especially when we have health challenges and we can’t do the things that we want to do, right? We I think there is this thought, like, well, once I get to this, right? Like once I feel better, then. Or
Once this happens, then and so even though someone’s intuition may be talking, it’s very much like I’ll be happy when, because I can’t tell you how often people tell me, well, as soon as my injury comes back, well, then I’m gonna work out and then I’m gonna eat well, and then I’m gonna quit my job that I hate, and then I’m going to, you know, tell some so-and-so how I feel in a nice way. Right. So talk to me about that. listening to the intuition and then this whole I’ll be happy when syndrome that
people think is part of it, but it’s actually not.
ERic (09:24.301)
Yeah, I mean, I think we live in this construct of reality where everything is logical and mechanical. If I I’ll do this and I’ll do that. I’ll wait until I mean, I’ll say for men, at least in my life, the men are single and they’re not married. They’ll when it’s come to relating or being in relationship, they’re just like, I gotta get everything together before I commit. Like they gotta wait for everything is perfect. And it’s like that’s not life. Like my dreams didn’t come true in a perfect scenario. It just happened.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (09:45.889)
Mm-hmm.
ERic (09:53.506)
And the funny thing is the transition I went through was well, I was in a one bare room with a roommate for five years because I was in LA trying to figure it out. And then as soon as I separated from that roommate and my rent increased, right? I got into another space, a better space, and the show came six months after that. So I had to change my frequency, change my environment to go in a different environment for a new thing to come in, listen to my intuition again. And the thing about your intuition and the universe and
not being so logical’s some things that are logical shouldn’t make sense because they’re not sense of your soul, right? So before I made that move into living by myself, I think this was 2016, because I got on show 2017. 2016, I went to go move on my own. And I applied for an apartment complex that I felt like I could afford, right? That was logical. Like finance-wise, like yo, I can afford this. Guess what? I didn’t get it.
So imagine me, my leash is up at the end of August of that year. I go back home to see my family for two weeks. I’m telling them like, grandma, mom, I’m about to get a new apartment, live by myself for the first time. I’m happy, right? And then I come back and return. It’s a no. And then kind of find out the building next next door to that apartment is the rent is way more. The building’s way better. I didn’t think I could get into that. Guess what happened when I applied? I got into it. I got into the unit.
I was able to be in a better
Inna Topiler CNS MS (11:22.328)
So what changed in your mindset? Like how did you because this leap that you talk about is huge for so many people that we don’t think we can, so we don’t try, but it’s not necessarily the doing, it’s the being and the thinking. Talk to us about that.
ERic (11:28.911)
Yeah. Mm-hmm.
ERic (11:39.28)
So the the great thing about it was I’m a self starter, I’m independent, I’m I don’t even know what to tell me what to do, I’m just go go. But what happened was I had to allow someone to help me. And so I had a buddy at the time, Olympian gold medalist, been across the world, like he’s he knows what nice places are, right? He said, E, I think I’m supposed to help you. He asked me a question, I write this about in the book. Why didn’t you ask for help? I said, I don’t know how to. I was afraid to ask for help because when I did, I didn’t get what I wanted, I got rejected. So I’m gonna do everything by myself.
So here me go trying to do this apartment thing by myself, right? And it didn’t hurt happen, right? And you helped me, you helped me realize where I’m in. I’m in the same situation where I’m about to move. Like it’s so crazy, like how how we’re in this, I’m in this same different space with a different timeline, which is great. and I’m not doing it by myself, so to say. So anyway, he goes into the space, he’s Man, this is an Eric Bicker space right here, bro. Like, I think this is you. And I’m like, man, you sure it’s too much, you know?
Inna Topiler CNS MS (12:09.004)
Mm.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (12:28.706)
Yeah.
ERic (12:36.783)
I don’t think I was paying $650 at the time I one bedroom because splitting up the rent. And I went to $18.50. So I jumped, right? And at the time I didn’t have no corporate job. I didn’t have no consistent income. Other than the nightclub, I was a door guy. I personal training. I was doing Uber. So, but yet I gotta prove. So I get into this new space, paying more than I’ve ever paid. It’s nice, wood floors, brick walls, stain and steel. Like I’m like, my God. And
Six months after that, I get a text message from someone asking me what I would would I love to be or try to be on a batch. Right. And I’m like, okay. Yeah. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I wasn’t looking for that. You get what I mean? I wasn’t looking to be on a TV show, a dating show. It came into my frequency, my vortex, because I jumped a timeline. Yet, you know, the cosmos, the universe, God, the creator with famous, like, I want more for you.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (13:17.688)
Mm-hmm.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (13:22.54)
I do.
ERic (13:35.246)
You keep playing it safe. There’s a book also called Playing It Safe is a New Risk. And most of my life, I’ve jumped timelines because I didn’t play it safe. And then every time I jump a timeline, I amplify where I’m at. Not that it’s easy. So I think people, we have to get out of our logical mind and get into our spiritual body. Because when you’re in your spiritual body and you trust your intuition, you follow your discernment, logic can’t match.
Or compare to what your intuition and your discernment tells you about where you’re going, about your body, even sometimes gonna meet a doctor or physician or physical therapist or even a trainer. And they might tell you something. Your spirit will be like, mm-hmm, that’s not true for me. And people won’t speak up. Throat issue, throat chakra, right? You have to speak up. I was talking to a client earlier today, and at the end of our session, you know, we’re praying and love came up for her, right? And she felt
Inna Topiler CNS MS (14:20.108)
Yes.
ERic (14:32.385)
Ashamed to speak about love, but I’m like, no, no, no. You need to be selfish at this part of your life. You’ve been married, you got a divorce, you’ve been divorced for two years. So I’m telling you, because I’ve been in your life for two years, I don’t want you to get into something if it’s not for what you need. You already sacrificed everything. But she don’t, if she don’t have the support to feel like she can do that, not that she would take on that relationship, but it’s not embodying her new self, it’s embodying the old self, the safe self, the logical self.
I’m a mom, I gotta do this. I want love. This person loves me. But they’re not fully committing to you the way you need them to, and you know that because that’s why you question it. So we question things, but then we don’t we refuse to understand the question to answer the intuition because there’s no logic in intuition. I should just leave this job, but I don’t know why. Because you don’t have evidence. But the evidence is in your body, and that’s what spiritual fitness does, allow you to get in your body and
Nothing is ever gonna be perfect, and nothing in life is perfect. The people you look up to, the people you watch, even me. My life is not perfect. Things are not always what they seem. So even when you get there, you’re gonna be like, this is not what I thought. Because that’s what happened to me living my dreams. I’m thinking, like, I’m not supposed to be happy and fulfilled. I wasn’t because I wasn’t doing it from the space of fulfillment. I was doing it from a space of success and want. Look at me, look at me, validation.
Because of the wound I had when I was young that I didn’t sit with or didn’t process because I didn’t know how to. And so to your point, yes, we have to get into the spiritual body and get out of the logical mind where we can trust what we know and feel the evidence in our body and not look for the evidence outside of ourselves. Because everything we’re looking at, podcasts, you know, phone, someone created it because they trusted something in themselves. Your podcast, you’ve been here nine years. How did you do it? You’ve done it.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (15:58.799)
Mm.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (16:17.037)
Yeah.
ERic (16:28.389)
‘Cause you trusted it and you know, and now we’re talking.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (16:31.404)
Yeah, yeah. It’s so true. And I think what you were speaking about is these jumping timelines or quantum leaps, or there’s a few different names for that. And you know, I love that because it’s getting into a space where you actually feel into your body and then you can do it. Because otherwise our mind takes over, right? Our ego and our mind honestly is a liar most of the time. And it’s interesting you say too that playing safe is a risk because it’s such an oxymoron. But yet, right, it’s
It’s true a lot of the time because then we just kind of follow the regular things and whatever is safe. And, you know, I think for all of us, for everyone listening, there’s always more, right? There’s always more. And I love what you mentioned too, just about having the life that anyone on paper would say, Wow, that’s amazing. And then literally it you blow it up. I mean, it’s not it blew up, you blow it up because you knew that that’s not what you wanted.
ERic (17:11.865)
Yeah.
ERic (17:26.691)
Right. Right.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (17:29.836)
And I think for so many people, and again, it’s even from a health perspective, right? We want to feel better, right? We want to have more energy, we want to have less brain fog, we want to be able to move our body, we want to look a certain way. But for so many people, the reason why they’re struggling is because they’re doing the physical, which again is important, but it’s not everything. And it’s actually embodying the body and like
ERic (17:53.733)
Not everything.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (17:56.937)
I talk so much about speaking the truth because it’s such a big thing with thyroid, but it’s not just speaking, it’s it’s feeling right what’s happening. Because like you said, your soul knows.
ERic (18:03.595)
England, yeah.
ERic (18:09.017)
Yeah, you so not.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (18:10.664)
And I think for I know for me for a long time, I knew too, but I was afraid to admit it. And it sounds like you went through that too, right? It’s like this inner knowing. And I think sometimes with intuition, you know, and especially for someone who is, you know, just very scientific about things and everything needs to be tangible. Intuition is not tangible, right? Like you can’t say, there it is. It’s a feeling and it’s such a quick feeling. And it took me, by the way, too. I am speaking from experience, but also I am
Not a pro at this by any means because it took me years. I remember speaking to a coach of mine a long time ago, and she was like, you know, you she told me like something about intuition. I was like, Me? No, no, I don’t have any intuition. And she was like, Honey, everyone is intuition. And I’m like, no, no, no, no. Like I get all these weird feelings and I am you know, like I just probably scared. And she’s like, Well, you have to figure out which is which. So there’s just a lot there. And I think it’s so important for people to realize that.
The physical is important, right? But it’s not everything. And it’s like, how do we work on some of these other areas of the body? And I just I love hearing stories like yours. And there’s so many other people where they came from here, right? And then they ended up here and then they crashed and burned. And then they did again. And it’s like you’re just refining yourself more and more. And I think for everyone listening, there’s just so much more to you, and so much more to what you truly want to do, what you care for about, what like really matters to you than.
what I think most people think that is on paper.
ERic (19:42.086)
Yeah, and I think it’s I wanna point out something you said as very great that people should go back and listen to that term. You said refining yourself and then you crash and burn and you do it again. And that’s something I had to realize because I think in life we don’t think we should crash and burn, right? We don’t think we should have a w hit a wall. We don’t think our tower should fall. So we’re always trying to keep up.
Or c hold the space, I’ve done it for years, and you realize like, no, you guys gotta surrender because you can’t hold this mountain anymore you’re on, cause you gotta go on a new mountain. So you go up a mountain, then you gotta come down a mountain and you gotta start a new mountain. And literally that’s what happened when I went through my wake and I I came up the tower fell and I literally hiked the real mountain in Machu Picchu, which is so funny. I’ve never hiked a mountain in my life. I’m afraid of heights. Like what are the odds? I did plant medicine, like
Inna Topiler CNS MS (20:16.312)
Yes.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (20:25.236)
Hmm.
Wow.
ERic (20:29.557)
Like, you what I mean? I never did drugs. So that was this my this has been my journey because I had to trust what my soul knows without evidence. I’m like, I was so broken and so low, I’m like, I’m gone. I’m going to Peru. And I think that’s where we get stuck, where we don’t think there should be a crisis, there shouldn’t be a challenge, there shouldn’t be upset or betrayal. And we just want to keep it safe. And it’s like, that’s not life though. Because in order to grow, you gotta break.
And I believe this as a man, I could be wrong. I would love if you have any men, followers, or listeners. I feel like as a man, if you don’t go through heartbreak, I don’t think you can really feel love in your body and experience that deep, intimate love with a partner with someone, if you don’t go through that heartbreak, because you don’t know what it’s like for their heart to break. You know what I mean? And me going through that and now to experience the love I have is such a different experience. And I’m like,
Inna Topiler CNS MS (21:20.099)
Mm-hmm.
ERic (21:28.015)
Could I witness or experience this without that? Not that it’s all logic, it has to be that way, but that was the awakening, that was the activation, that was the transformation. And we’re always refining ourselves. And I also think to the flip side of that, sometimes we’re refining ourselves too much and we’re not allowing ourselves to be human, right? We’re not allowing ourselves to be different. Yeah, yeah. So
Inna Topiler CNS MS (21:45.635)
That is true. We’re human beings, not human doings, right? Exactly. Yeah. And to your point too about, you know, going through heartbreak to feeling true love, I think the same applies to health. And I talked to so many people and just even my own journey with Hashimoto is like my body literally broke. Like nothing worked. I was so tired or I had terrible skin. Literally half my hair fell out. I
I couldn’t think straight. I had so many menstrual issues. I mean, you name it, I had every single symptom. And not to say that I wish this on anyone, but to your point, when you feel so terrible, I think you can actually appreciate feeling well. And, you know, again, not that you have to feel terrible to feel well, but.
ERic (22:27.809)
Uh-huh.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (22:36.568)
There is this just this old like a different level that opens up. And I talk about this a lot. And I know some people look at me like I have five heads, but there is a a a silver lining, I think even more so than a silver lining of having Hashimoto’s because this journey led me to so many things. It led me to this podcast. It led me to interviewing all these amazing people that I have over the last years. It led me to creating my courses, to having a platform to, but it’s not just about me, me, me. Like it led me to it’s more like.
ERic (22:53.209)
Right, right.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (23:06.114)
you know, not look at me, but it’s like come with me where I’ve supported so many different people and their journeys, and then just what I’ve been able to kind of figure out on my, you know, for myself as well. And it would be hard without that. So there is that blessing that comes with it.
ERic (23:24.739)
It leads you when you go through the me crisis and the identity crisis or whatever we want to attach or call it, you go to you get into the we of the world, which is the web, right? Of people. You join me so you can be part be part of this we that I’m creating, right? Because your me and your suffering or whatever you went through allowed you to create something for the we of the world, for people, for the web that you you you serve to. Had you not witnessed that, it might probably not be the same.
Yeah, I think the the silver line and all of it is, you know, life is meant to cause different challenges and changes while height is good. But I think when you don’t understand why we question that maybe I’m doing something wrong, I’m not enough, or like, no, some things just have to fall apart. Some things have to be left behind, some things you have to leave. And then you’ve the flip side of that is that I feel like people stay too long in things because of their fear of change, right? Where
Inna Topiler CNS MS (27:40.888)
Mm-hmm.
ERic (27:44.68)
I’ve I’ve been a space where I’m always on everything by myself and I’m hyper independent, but I’m like, that’s not life. Eventually you gotta come together and be with someone, right? And I think the opportunity that we have as humans is to know that just because there’s a problem, there’s a challenge, doesn’t mean you can’t have great change. And I think that’s what I did in my life. I had great change through my challenges and problems that could keep me small, keep me where I was to be where I’m at today.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (28:12.354)
Yeah. And it’s just amazing what you overcame to get there and then done it again and again.
ERic (28:15.605)
Yeah. Again, yeah, yeah. It’s like, well, I’m like, okay, God, I just wanna relax. You know what’s interesting? And this is why it’s so important for everybody listening and everybody in the world. Please notice. Everybody has a different soul journey.
Because on my journey, I’m like, what I gotta go through this while you know, I would complain, right? Cause it was so challenging, so intense. I remember being on a batch rat and we had a therapist, right? When we were on that show. And I was helping everybody, all the guys, they were coming to me. And it was like week nine. Right. It was like week nine, we about to do hometowns. And the therapist was telling me, Eric, well, everyone seemed like they’re going to you for help. And I needed help the most. I was going through the most. And she said, Let me tell you something.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (28:49.486)
Of course they were, Eric.
ERic (29:04.011)
She said, I know it’s a lot, but you chose this life, and you got what it takes to be where you are. So I know it’s gonna be tough, but you got it. You chose this. So everything you’re going through is for your greater good. And I never forget that because that was like almost nine years ago. And I never forget that she told me that you chose a difficult life in a different way for a greater reason. And sometimes I sit with it like,
Okay. Okay. Let’s get back on and let’s just keep going. And that’s where I think in life people get caught up because they’re always comparing. Don’t compare yourself. Comparison and competition is ego consciousness. Creation and collaboration is your soul consciousness. When we’re here to create, like we’re collaborating right now. This is soul work. Not like, I want the who want the it’s just no, we’re coming together to collaborate, to appreciate and demonstrate to the world that.
We can be better in a different way if we use spiritual fitness. If we come on your podcast, listen about thyroid health. That’s what it’s about. But everybody has a different soul journey. So even sometimes in family, we project on them because we want them to be away, but that’s not their journey. Right? And it’s okay. That’s hard. Yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (30:14.828)
And that’s a hard one, especially when you have little kids. And it is very interesting because I watch myself. My husband actually calls me out on it, like, you know, my daughter’s doing this or she’s not doing this. And he was like, Honey, don’t project your childhood on her or don’t project what you wish you had. Not in terms of things, but just like in terms of you know events and experiences. And I think
ERic (30:35.82)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Unconscious, that’s what we do. Yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (30:44.278)
I don’t know if other people feel this way, but I think for me, we all go through different experiences. I moved to this country when I was nine. I didn’t know English. I had to make all new friends. And it was a lot. And a lot of my limiting beliefs come from not being good enough in rejection because at that age, you were just so sensitive to things, and there’s so many things that are forming at that age. So I think a lot comes from that. So I think that, and I don’t do this on purpose, but I think naturally.
with my little girl, I don’t want her to go through some of the things that I went through, even though that’s all in the past and over and I learned from that and things are fine, right? But it’s me kind of projecting, well, you know, go ask this person to play so you’re not by yourself. Meanwhile, she may want to be by herself on the playground, but it’s just that projecting. So I think we all do that to some extent and just being conscious of them.
ERic (31:35.606)
It’s and it’s hard, right? Because why wouldn’t you project that onto her if that was your experience? That’s all you know, right? Of course she has her free will and her own autonomy and sovereignty at some point when she gets older if she’s not already, but I mean, we only know what we know. And if we don’t share what we know and then they come out the opposite of what we want, we still gonna take on that responsibility that I should have just said the thing, or I totally should’ve but I learned them to be free and have you know, so
It’s this oxymoron of like yes and no or intuition, discernment, knowing when, and knowing when allow, you know, the person to become, you know, their own unique self. And I think that’s also been my biggest challenge in life and my greatest strength is that my parents let me be free. So I had a lot of autonomy where I had faith and confidence to do things, but then I wanted a little pushback. I wanted a little bit of constructive criticism, right? And so again.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (32:29.261)
Yeah.
ERic (32:34.21)
The people who had the criticism or the the the feedback or the discipline from the parents, they were like, You don’t want that because I couldn’t go hang out with my friends or so it’s this it’s this thing of life where some of us will, some of us won’t, some people do, some people don’t. And it’s not all the same for everybody. But this catch twenty two is like the grass is not greener ’cause it’s greener over there. Like it’s not. Like So Yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (32:42.039)
Yes.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (32:56.203)
Right.
Exactly. I mean, we all gain different beliefs based on the things that we were taught, or even just not specifically taught, but based on the things that how we grew up and what we saw. So we’re all gonna have beliefs. I think some people may have less beliefs than others, but for the most part, we all have beliefs. Many of them are self-limiting beliefs, and we need to look at them. And that’s part of spiritual fitness that you talk about. So for someone who is new to this concept.
And you talked a lot about, you know, being in your body, right? So not just following a protocol or doing exercise in the way that we think fitness is, but actually embodying our body. And you call it spiritual body, which is, you know, I guess goes deeper than the physical body. Can you explain that a little bit? Because I think for some people, that’s a very new concept for them.
ERic (33:49.679)
So the first thing I would tell people listening, watching, is to write this down, jot it down or remember it. Spirituality is trust and awareness. Fitness is integration and embodiment, right? So there’s so spirituality is trust and awareness, right? You have awareness that you trust. That’s just spiritual part of your essence, right? You’re aware of something, so you trust it. You become more spiritual in that. Fitness is integration and embodiment.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (34:03.0)
Say that one more time.
ERic (34:19.406)
Embodying what you’re aware of that you trust and you become spiritually fit. So to get in your spiritual spiritual body, you gotta have those components working from a general construct without the movement phase. But in spiritual fitness, it’s a framework, five pillars: intention, movement, breath work, affirmations, prayer. And in this space, it’s an interactive experience for you to discover your true self.
Right, your authentic self, your soul self, or what you’re here to do. Because in spiritual fitness, just saying this podcast is spiritual fitness, and say we’re actually moving and I’m asking you questions like, Hey, how was your childhood? Or what’s the most money you made? Or just say these things are coming up, and you’re like, Why is he asking me this? Like this is kind of odd, but my spirit is fit to this vibration of this essence, and I’m trusting right what I’m saying, and then you tap in like boom, boom, boom. Next thing you know, things are changing because I’m making it about you, not just your.
Body, but your mind, your heart, your soul, your essence, your what you’re here to do, and then you start recalibrating to like, I never thought about that. That’s interesting. You know what? You’re right. Or cause so now in this space, you’re forgetting that you’re working out. Because I’m taking you on a deeper space in a more genuine way for you to feel safe about the stuff you don’t talk about, the things you never thought about, or the things you knew you just never had the confidence to say. So when you’re in your spiritual body, right?
You’re in the essence of your physical 3D body, but then inside of that is your spirit where awareness comes, mindfulness. And then you get to trust those things that come up that might have been dormant or been confused. So for most people, when you think of spiritual fitness, think about going into a space where you move your body. And while you’re moving your body, you’re learning and discovering parts about yourself that maybe you know or you don’t know, or you get more revelation in. And then you start building a new confidence because it’s coming from the inside, not the outside. Not how much muscles I have, how great I look.
It’s how I feel. It’s what I’m becoming. And then you have the confidence to go do the podcast. You have the confidence to go date the person. You have the confidence to propose to the girl. You have the confidence and the favor to say, I’m going to leave my job. I’m going to leave my career. Because you’re spiritually fit in that expression. And the evidence is through you, for you, coming in out of yourself, not out in the world, not for me. Your soul knows. And so I’m allowing you to feel safe in that expression for you to be in a spiritual body where you feel fit in that.
ERic (36:45.804)
For your confidence. Because if you’re tapped in and I’m tapped in, that’s the ripple. Right? And we become more.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (36:50.766)
Right. Now what’s the difference between two people talking, say you and I talking about our past experiencing beliefs versus us actually moving as we’re talking?
ERic (37:03.34)
Well, when we’re talking, we’re still moving energy, right? You’re moving energy from your hearts, your energy. So that’s the talking component. The movement component, I’m getting you more in your body. Like we get more so as you’re working out, you can feel like you’re moving things, you might have tension, you might even cry, like, this hurts. But but we also talk about a heavy subject and things might open up. Or you start feeling tired and you’re like, you know what? I just got an epiphany. Or if I pray.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (37:07.16)
But you
Inna Topiler CNS MS (37:13.718)
Mm.
ERic (37:30.508)
You you’re just more receptive to the unseen realm within yourself while you’re moving your body. The movement phase is to get you out of your head, right? To get you out of here and to get you here. So now that I’m moving your body and done 30 jumper jacks, 30 push-ups, 30 squats. my God, I’m feeling good. And hey, how’s your heart today? Well, you know what? I had a rough morning and da da da da. But now I feel great. Let’s talk about it. And the next thing you know, you’re healing yourself because all I’m doing is asking a question. But yet we’re moving.
And next you know, you’re like, damn, I feel lighter, I feel better. Like, what just happened? I feel more anchored into like my God flow, my spiritual self. I’m feeling more connected to that divinity within. Then what what just happened? It’s an experience of your soul and an experience of spiritual fitness because I’m allowing you to interact with the parts of you that you don’t have the opportunity to. Because when you go to therapy, you talk, right? And it’s probably I can’t say all therapies, but they’re more like linear, more like logical, where I’m like, I’m going off what I’m feeling.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (38:21.4)
Yeah.
ERic (38:30.424)
You know how they got the medical intuitive? That’s what I am. I’m in spiritual fitness. I’m intuitive. I can feel hey, how was your morning this morning with your husband? Did I have a good talk? Like, you know what I mean? I’m moving into that space to say, like, this is coming from your field, and I’m pushing it back so we can talk about it because that’s what’s important for your soul. And then over time, you can do it by yourself because every time I get into spiritual fitness, anytime we get into spiritual fitness, you have to set an intention. You can’t just go work out.
We gotta set the intention. So before I came on this podcast, I prayed, right? For it to be for its highest good, for us to get the benefit that we need for those watching, listening. That’s my intention. Now the movement is everything we’re talking about. And then when we close it up, it’s sealed, close, concluded, great. But I’ll set an intention. I didn’t just come here like, I’m gonna talk. No, I’m setting intentions to get the best out of this space because of who you are and what we are together and how we can help collective consciousness. And that’s the web, that’s the we.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (39:29.826)
Yeah. And you know, I love how you explain the movement piece because even though we’re talking, you know, it’s all energy, you move so much more energy when you’re actually moving your body. I’ve actually done a style of it’s not therapy, but it was a method where, you know, we literally got rid of beliefs by walking up the hill and kind of saying the things that we want to get rid of or the things that we don’t like. So it sounds like there’s a little similarity with that too, but it’s
You know, I love how you explain it that when you move your body and you’re talking about something, you know, not just, hey, the weather is whatever, but talking about something that that has meaning to you, right? Something whether, you know, it doesn’t have to be always happy. It could be static, it could be something that makes you really angry, but then that energy actually gets to move. And then that second part with the intention, I love because most people don’t set the intention. Well, have a goal.
But there’s a difference between a goal and an intention. Can you tell us about that?
ERic (40:27.734)
Yeah, so a goal is an outcome, right? The intention is the income, right? So if you make the income, the intention, the outcome is greater. But if you only focus on the outcome, which most people are, which usually on a 3D world is the income, right? When they get the income on the outside, the income, the intention, the internal doesn’t feel fulfilled because it’s backwards. The intention is the investment of your energy into the thing you want to
Inna Topiler CNS MS (40:51.433)
Mm.
ERic (40:56.046)
proceed, progress, or to be an outcome of something. And so when you have that, the intention, I talk about this in the book, you have a intention, intention, and becomes a tension of the intention to have that greater outcome or result. Right? But we’re so result driven or we’re worried about what we’re gonna get and not what we’re gonna become. The intention helps you be have a better process of becoming. And it’s because I did it in Hollywood, right? When I was like, I’m gonna go do this thing, I had a goal and I did it.
But then I couldn’t receive it because there was no real intention other than the ego. So now when I set it up with like, you know what? I wanna have a great podcast today. It’s gonna be phenomenal, it’s gonna be magical. Instead of like, yeah, we’re gonna talk about spirit. Imagine if I came today, the goal is to only talk about spiritual fitness. And I just keep talking about spiritual fitness in my way, right? I’m not even allowing what you wanna move through you, through me, for us to talk about for the we.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (41:28.15)
Yes.
ERic (41:48.321)
Right? So that’s why the intention is for the highest good of us, not me, like we talked about earlier. And that’s the difference between a goal and attention. A goal is an outcome, attention is an income. And the intention is the in is the investment of your energy, time, and energetics in the thing you want to move towards. But if you’re just gr chasing gold and like you get the gold, now what? You got the ring, you got the job, you got the partner. Great. There’s no real seated intention in that. It’s just it looks good. Great. Good job. Like me, I was on TV.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (42:17.102)
Well, and this is where people don’t feel fulfilled, right? And I think so often, even and I bring it all back to health just because the people that are listening are trying to feel better, but also want all of these other things. Us and so often, in order for them to feel better, right, they may need to change their job because that’s probably dragging them down. And in some situations, their relationships might be part of the issue too. And how they receive and how they ask for help. Like all of that is very connected. And unless we look at all those things.
it’s gonna be hard to completely get better. But if we just set the goal, I want to feel a certain way and we may be able to feel that way on certain days, that feels good. But then once we get there, if we’re not able to kind of go through the journey, like you said, with the intention, we’re gonna get there and we’re not even gonna realize we’re there.
ERic (43:05.026)
And you know something I wanna add, you know, my partner Annabelle said this. She said real commitment comes when the excitement wears off, right? And so the outcome is excitement, right? The commitment is really the intention. So we chasing excitement without intention, so we don’t have commitment. We’re just chasing excitement. So then we get the high, we get the dopamine hit. my god, actually tells us, my I feel good. But then it’s not based off of anything real.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (43:15.553)
Mm.
ERic (43:33.398)
Because there’s no real commitment. We’re dating the thing. We’re not married to it. And that’s what I think most of us do in life is that we’ve been programmed to date life. Not most of us, but some of us, we date life to just get enough, to do enough, to be enough, and then we get upset when we don’t get the ring or get the thing we want because we’re not committed. Cause there’s no intention. That’s just the goal. I want the goal, I want the goal. Yeah, but don’t you wanna
Inna Topiler CNS MS (43:53.23)
Yes.
ERic (43:56.418)
Take it further, but we don’t know that ’cause psychologically we’re not knowing what we’re doing. We’re just doing it. We’re not being it. Like you said earlier.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (44:03.054)
That’s right. We’re doing it and we’re following. It’s what you said earlier. We’re following past evidence. So what society says that should be, or past evidence of what we’ve experienced, because our ego goes on what happened. Like it can’t like it’s hard for us to see what could be if we don’t have evidence of that. So we go on past evidence versus on how much better things can actually be.
ERic (44:09.763)
Yeah.
ERic (44:29.152)
And yeah, and things can always be better if we allow it, but if we’re always looking for it without allowing it to happen, it’ll never happen the way we need it to ’cause we’re in the way of it.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (44:37.132)
Yeah. Now speaking of allowing, one of the things that can actually help us get there is getting into our breath because so many people aren’t breathing properly. I know that’s one of your pillars too. Can you talk a little bit more about breath work? Because it’s not just breathing. It there’s more to it. I mean, it is breathing, but there’s more to it. So talk to us about that and how you specifically use breath work in your pillars.
ERic (45:02.54)
Yeah, so if you think about breath work, like I I like to break it down and to make it contextual can people can conceptualize it. When you’re happy, you breathe a certain way. When you’re sad, you breathe a certain way. Breath and life is in is in your breath. Like life is in my mind, and then I’m breathing away. I’m thinking, I’m feeling or doing. So for me, breath work is more of us integrating the movement part.
Right. We’re at the end of the workout. We just moved for 45 minutes. We just got so many revelations and clarity and ideas and like, my God, blah, blah. So where does all that new information, where does all those new things, or that that tension we let go, those tears we release, we gotta integrate this new this new frequency, this new vibration. So breath work allows you to get deep into your body to integrate the things that just came through. So also it slows the mind down so you can receive those things you just talked about.
You witness to breathe in. So usually when I finish my session, I have people do four counts in. I’m talking about this in the book, two counts out.
Thank you, body. I do another one.
Thank you, Mom. And I’ll do one last one. Thank you, heart. And then I get into another more deeper breath work, but to just kind of clear the air to get you grounded so you can receive what you just witnessed within yourself. Cause again, when we just want to go, don’t go to the gym, I’m going to the gym for an hour and work out and look good, and then we leave. Okay, we well, you didn’t even pass it up. You didn’t even like what happened in the gym today? What did you just learn? What did you notice? it doesn’t matter.
ERic (46:36.792)
Great. So six months down the line when that injury or that ailment comes up, it’s it’s gonna matter then. So the breath work slows the mind down to get you back into your body to let you know, thank you, body, thank you, mind, thank you, heart. You’re well, you’re safe, you’re loved. Thank you for holding space for me. Thank you for giving me all the information and wisdom because all the answers are within to receive it and breathe it through me. And then after breath work, we go into affirmations and then I do a beautiful prayer.
And then we clean up and we we the session is complete. And then you do it again. And then your life starts to change because everything is in those five pillars and is integrated, right? And that breath work, you get to breathe, you get to slow yourself down, you get to process. And most times with when people doing breath work or when I’m praying, the breath work, a lot of people cry.
Right? They’re crying. When I’m praying, people getting downloads and piffing, like, God, this would came through. So the breath work allows you to feel like everything you let go. Like, wow, that was tender for me to talk about that. That I didn’t know that I could. I know I felt safe. Like, yeah, it’s it’s a safe space. It’s okay. Don’t judge it. Cause sometimes we judge what we share because we think it’s too much. Whereas like you wouldn’t have shared it. Your spirit, your soul wouldn’t even allow it. Anything that comes out.
It would mean it was ready, even if it was not perfect timing. Even sometimes of the bad stuff, cause it was sitting. And that’s why you gotta move your body. Cause if you don’t, you’ll probably say something to someone at the wrong time and you need to go work out. So yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (48:06.71)
Yeah, it it happens the other way, right? People get angry and they’re like, I gotta work out to get rid of the anger versus working out and allow things to bubble up. And then they’re not like being pushed out. They kind of just surface in a very, it sounds like safe way. And, you know, especially if you’re with a person that’s able to receive that and hear that in that moment. Yeah. Yeah.
ERic (48:27.628)
Yeah. Yeah. It’s it’s it’s work. I say the hardest work we’ll do in life is on ourselves. But it don’t have to be hard work when you have awareness and you have space where you feel safe. ‘Cause that’s the biggest thing I’ve learned from spiritual fitness is safety and trust. When we can have more safe in our body and nervous system and we can trust, we’ll have a better experience in life.
And I think that’s what most people are looking for beyond acceptance, belonging, and validation is safety and trust. The more men can feel safe, the more women and kids can feel safe, we’ll have a better reality. We’ll have a better conscience. But p people don’t feel safe. And why don’t people feel safe? Because they’re disembobulated or they’re distracted, distorted, because they don’t have no pillars or no principles to run from or leave or live from to have a more safe internal environment.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (49:18.668)
Yeah. I love that. And I think for everyone listening, this is really important because naturally, right, when you have an autoimmune disease, it feels like your body’s balloting itself because the immune system literally is attacking your thyroid. Or, you know, there’s people who don’t just have Hashimoto’s. They have other autoimmune diseases that listen to the show. And so it’s your immune system attacking whatever organ that it is. So naturally it’s hard to feel safe because just conceptually your body is under attack. And so I think it’s so important for people to know that.
even if it feels like things are not safe, you can actually cultivate and create that safety with the pillars that you talk about. Because I don’t think people realize that they just, well, I’m not safe. Or maybe on the outside they’re not safe because maybe they’re living in a relationship that is not safe or whatever else. But it’s that ability and I think the knowledge of being able to cultivate the safety on the inside.
ERic (50:09.047)
Yeah, and I think another thing I wanna add, and this might trigger some people, is that, you know, the power of prayer and presence and energetics over your body, right? To this say mothers and, you know, parents out there that got kids and kids are like sick or they’re not feeling good and they come to mommy, they come to dad, and you just rub their heads like, it’s gonna be okay. And then they just go to sleep and they feel safe, right? Because you have that discernment, you have that power to heal your child with your energy.
You literally just the baby is gonna be okay. I love you. Just go to sleep. It’s okay. You’re literally healing your child with your energetics. So when it comes to having a thyroid issue or anything of that moment that you probably born into, or just the doctors told you, and it’s like I have this ailment. You might believe like the only way I can get out of this if I follow a doctor, I take the meds or whatever it is, right? But I believe through my work.
Through your energetics, through praying and putting your energy on it, you can kind of remove some of that, you can heal yourself. That’s the power creating that safe space within yourself, which you’re talking about. You have the power to say, I released this from my body, I released this from my subconscious mind. I released this from my life. And some people like, well, that don’t make sense because I’ve been in this in all these years, right? And granted, true. But if you try something else, I believe you can. I mean, we are healers. Everyone’s a healer.
But you don’t give yourself the permission to heal yourself because you don’t think you have the attributes or you don’t have the bandwidth, but you do. And this is what spiritual fitness does and invites people into the light of their soul, their light body, not their dark body. They say, if I breathe a certain way a few times and I constantly pray and constantly have faith, I can heal parts of my body that I didn’t even know. But we don’t think we have that power because we’re so conditioned to believe the system that’s been created to benefit, to make money, for
its own pockets and good, which I understand, but you don’t have to be in pain as long as you are if you start using the power of your body that you came into. Because I’m pretty sure you healed yourself in so many ways through talking, through creating courses. You don’t even know why you’re creating a course, you’re healing parts of your soul.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (52:20.174)
A hundred percent. I love creating just in general. And creating is really fun for me. And that’s the part that was never rewarded when I was little. Like you don’t do things just because they’re fun. You do them because there’s a reason. I mean, at least that’s my upbringing. So that’s why I create so many things that I literally like have so much fun doing. And of course, it helps people on the other side, but it like you’re absolutely right. Like it’s very healing on the inside for me too. And yeah, I just think for everyone listening too, the the thing that I want you to take away is that.
ERic (52:21.614)
Yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (52:49.75)
All of these things are important, right? There’s not only this or only this. It’s when you combine it. Because yes, if you don’t have a thyroid, you need to take thyroid medicine. And if your thyroid’s already been destroyed, you’re gonna need some thyroid medicine. We’re not saying no, you don’t need that, but it’s you do the things that you need biochemically, and then everything else, you work on all of these other assets and all these other angles because it’s never one-sided. The more angles that you look at it from,
not only are you gonna feel better, but you can expand yourself to a much bigger and different version that you probably even realized that you’ve realized.
ERic (53:27.406)
You get to own your power because in spiritual fitness I tell clients, I tell people, I don’t want your power. Don’t give me your power. Don’t put me on a path. I want you to tap into your power. Because if your power and real power, we are powerful together. But if you think I owe all this autonomy and authority over your life because I’m quote unquote the expert, that’s not true.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (53:33.718)
Mm.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (53:40.546)
Yes.
ERic (53:46.957)
That’s what you’re perceiving because we haven’t been conditioned to own our power. So we unconsciously give it away. Well, you’re the doctor, you’re the nutritionist, you’re the trainer, you’re the hold on, hold on. Yes, I know. And you are a soul who has information, was wisdom, was understanding, and you can take that authority back and say, I don’t think I want to do that. Like sometimes clients that come and it’s like, I’m on my cycle. I have a lot of women’s clients. And I’m like, cool. And it’s like, I don’t feel like we’re working out there. That’s fine. We won’t work out. Like it’s not like
We’re not gonna push past discomfort because you have to show up because we schedule. But I said, you see how you spoke up for yourself? I need you to do that in every part of your life. Not just you creating that safety effect. You need to do that. Yes.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (54:21.932)
Yes. And that’s everyone needs to hear that that’s listening. Speak up for yourself. You know, it’s it’s really, really, really important. Yeah. Yeah.
ERic (54:28.886)
Yeah. Yes.
ERic (54:35.254)
And yeah, that’s why people need safe containers where they can have that, you know, energy ex experience to know like, this is possible. I can speak my truth and not be ruined for it or feel guilt or shame. Yeah, you’re human. It’s okay.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (54:51.23)
Exactly. You just have to have, like you said, a safe container where you start and you practice because you’re not gonna practice going out and saying that in front of a thousand people you don’t know. yeah, start with the sub container and go from there. Absolutely. Eric, this has been so helpful and it’s it’s a little bit different than some of the things that we talk about on the show, but I think it’s so important for people to just to get into the space and to know that it’s really a combination of all of these things and there’s so much that they can do and so much they can accomplish.
ERic (55:00.523)
Yeah, yeah.
Inna Topiler CNS MS (55:21.118)
And there’s so much that they can feel that is really gonna make a big difference. So for those who want to find out more, who want to contact you, who want to connect with you, where can they find you and where can they pick up the book?
ERic (55:24.749)
Yeah.
